For Immediate Release…Toronto, ON, Jan 31, 2013 –Exhibition Place is proud to announce that The Green Building Institute (GBCI) has issued Mark Goss, General Manager of Operations a LEED Green Associate Certificate. Exhibition Place includes the award winning LEED Silver Allstream Centre and Direct Energy Centre exhibition and convention centre complex.

The LEED Green Associate Certificate recognizes specialized knowledge of green building principles and one’s achievement and commitment to supporting green building design, construction and operations. The Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating Systems promote sustainable building and development practices by recognizing projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance. An internationally-recognized green building certification system, LEED is flexible and applies to all building types.

LEED Green Professionals are a driving force behind the green building movement and are distinguished as a leader and a resource for others seeking to achieve their sustainability goals.
