Where is Direct Energy Centre?

Direct Energy Centre is located at:
Exhibition Place
100 Princes Blvd
Toronto, ON, M6K 3C3,
Canada.

The 1 million square foot facility is located on the east end of the 196 acre property, adjacent to the Princes Gates.

Where is the Queen Elizabeth Exhibit Hall or Theatre?

The Queen Elizabeth Complex, which includes the QE Exhibit Hall, QE Theatre, and the Fountain Dining Room is centrally located at Exhibition Place on Princes Blvd. The complex is north of the Better Living Centre, west of the Princes Gates, and south west of the Go-Transit and TTC stops.

Where is the CMHC Eco Pod?

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) Eco Pods are located on Manitoba Drive just north of Queen Elizabeth Complex and west of the Go-Transit and TTC stops. Part of the Music Building at Exhibition Place, these 3 equal sized octagon pods total an area of 9,820 square feet.

The Eco Pods currently hosts the Sustainable Condo which displays green technologies and sustainable products as well as meeting space for up to 90ppl. Find out more at www.usinglessenjoyingmore.com

Where do I park my car or bike for events?

Car parking for events depends on the location of your show or event.
Direct Energy Centre has underground and surface parking to serve the building and the Automotive Building.
The Queen Elizabeth Complex has parking south east and north west of the complex.
The Better Living Centre has parking located east of the building.

Exhibition Place has space for 348 bikes on racks situated across the grounds.

How do I get there using a Vehicle or Public Transit?

Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place is located 4 kms west of downtown Toronto and is accessible via the Gardiner Expressway or Lakeshore Boulevard.
Exhibition Place is bordered by: Gardiner Expressway to the North; Lake Shore Boulevard to the South; Dufferin Street to the West; Strachan Avenue to the East

Access via Automobile:
FROM THE EAST: Take the Gardiner Expressway west to Spadina/Lake Shore Boulevard cutoff and follow the signs for Lakeshore Boulevard. Take Lake Shore Boulevard to the Princes' Gates (just west of Strachan Avenue).
FROM THE WEST: Take the Gardiner Expressway east to Lake Shore Boulevard or Jameson Avenue. There are three entrance points to Exhibition Place from Lake Shore Boulevard - British Columbia Drive, Ontario Drive and Newfoundland Drive.

Access via Toronto Transit (TTC):
#29 DUFFERIN BUS
Take the Bloor subway to Dufferin Station and proceed to street level. Board the #29 bus south to Exhibition Place.


#511 BATHURST STREETCAR
N.B. (NOT OPERATING TO EXHIBITION PLACE DUE TO FLEET STREET CONSTRUCTION)
Take the Bloor subway to Bathurst Station and proceed to street level. Board the #511 streetcar south to Exhibition Place.


#509 LAKESHORE STREETCAR

N.B. DUE TO FLEET STREET CONSTRUCTION, PASSENGERS WILL NEED TO TAKE EITHER THE 509, 510, 511 STREETCARS FROM UNION STATION AND TRANSFER AT QUEENS QUAY AND SPADINA TO WAIT FOR THE 509 BUS TO EXHIBITION. RETURN BUS STOPS ARE IN FRONT OF THE DIRECT ENERGY CENTRE AND THE CORNER OF STRACHAN AVE. AND CANADA BLVD..

Take the Yonge-University subway to Union Station and proceed to the Queens Quay platform. Board the #509 streetcar west to Exhibition Place.

* Please note that one TTC fee applies to all consecutive travel. Upon boarding any TTC line (subway, bus or streetcar) please obtain a transfer which will allow you free access onto your connecting line. For more information, visit the TTC at www.ttc.ca or call 416-393-4636.

Access via GO Train:
Exhibition Place also has a GO station located right on our grounds. The station name is EXHIBITION and is one stop west of Union Station on the East-West Lakeshore line. For more information contact GO Transit at www.gotransit.ca or 416-869-3200.

Where can I find Food?

During events, on-site concessions are made available by show management to meet the various dietary needs of our visitors. There are also various restaurants and eateries in the area along King St. and Dufferin St.

Do you have Automated Bank Machines (ABM)?

Temporary ABM's are located within the exhibit halls at the discretion of show management. Permanent ABM's are found in the Galleria outside of Hall B.

Is this facility Wheelchair Accessible?

Direct Energy Centre has been designed and constructed with accessible facilities (barrier free) for the following: Disabled persons: unisex and handicapped accessible washrooms, double meeting room doors, sidewalk curb cuts and heated ramps. Visual impaired: location and information signage with universal symbols of accessibility, Braille and raised letters where necessary, high colour contrasts; textural changes on exterior pavers, textured concrete inwalkaway areas and floor patterning. Hearing impaired: FM loop systems. compatible with typical hearing aids in meeting rooms.

How do I exhibit in shows at Direct Energy Centre?

If you wish to exhibit at shows and events at Direct Energy Centre, visit the Show Calendar page, which links to the show producer's website. You must deal with the show producer directly. Direct Energy Centre is not involved in renting space to show exhibitors.
