Reed Exhibition
Companies presents the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS)
at The National Trade Centre in Toronto from October 15-18.
For the second time, this biennial tradeshow literally recreated an
entire _ million square foot factory floor in 5 days. This mega event
involving more than 600 exhibitors from the world of manufacturing
incorporates the Canadian Machine Tool Show and the National Factory
Automation Show and is expected to draw more than 13,000 industry
professionals.
Companies from around the globe will present their latest innovations
in machine tool technology and factory automation along with a complete
range of industrial accessories and supplies. Attendees can expect
to see live demonstrations of full-scale operational machinery, source
new suppliers and meet experts to discuss solutions to technical problems.
“At a time when businesses need to know they are getting the
most from their investments in manufacturing technology, CMTS gives
them one-stop shopping for all the product and industry knowledge
they need,” says Robert Mathieu, Show Manager for Reed Exhibition
Companies (REC). Reed Exhibition Companies is one of the world’s
leading organizers of trade and consumer events with a portfolio of
over 350 events in 27 countries.
“Again, Toronto’s National Trade Centre has demonstrated
its ability to stage world-class events of a significant size and
status” said Ernest H.Vincent, General Manager. Mr. Vincent
added “Despite the recent tragic events in the US, the current
Fall season is proving to be very busy indeed with many recent shows
reporting increased attendance”.
The National Trade Centre is Canada’s largest tradeshow facility
located at the celebrated Exhibition Place grounds. The National Trade
Centre is owned by the City of Toronto and professionally managed
by Toronto firm, O&Y/SMG Canada, a Canadian company offering management
services to convention/trade centres, arenas, stadiums and theatres
across the country. Since its opening in 1997, The National Trade
Centre has increased its roster of events to over 130 annually. |
