Chef Joseph Soroka
Joseph started working at the Regal Constellation Hotel in 1988 as a reservation agent. He left there as Reservations Manager in 1997 to pursue his true passion of cooking. Joseph started at the Old Mill in 1997 as an apprentice. He finished his apprenticeship and schooling, with honours from Humber College, in 2000. He left the Old Mill as Sous Chef and accepted the same position at the Estates of Sunnybrook.
In 2001, Joseph returned to the Regal Constellation Hotel for a short time before accepting the position of Sous Chef at Stage West Theatre & Hotel in June 2002. In July 2003, Joseph was promoted to Executive Chef at Stage West Theatre & Hotel. Joseph has appeared on numerous TV shows, showcasing his culinary talent. These shows include Rogers television, CH11 Morning Show and Breakfast Television. In October 2007, Joseph added the position of Food & Beverage Director as well as maintaining his Executive Chef position. He is always combining over 20 years of hospitality experience with his excellent culinary skills.
